Today's Hi-Tea

Salam..again....!
today's activity while waiting to pick up hb from office, I have an easy bread recipe..
I use hovis bread flour...it is for strong white bread! and yes it's really..!

And for our hi tea: bun and hot tea..

The recipe for Basic White Bread

6 cups of flour, more or less, divided
1 tablespoon sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 envelope active dry yeast (7g)
2 cups very warm water, about 120°C
2 tablespoons softened butter

Preparation:

In a large mixing bowl combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Beating at low speed, add the water and butter. Continue beating at high speed for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup flour and beat 4 minutes longer. Stir in 3 cups flour, or enough to make a soft dough. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for about 8 to 10 minutes,, or until dough is smooth and elastic, adding a little more flour as necessary.

Make small dough about 40g each...let them come bigger..and bigger

I love to use this method..if you have a prover, its ok...but this is one of the method to help the dough not to dry and grow up ..cover the dough with a wet clean kitchen towel and put some hot  water under the  dough pan

and..believe me the taste is great...I just put some sugar since my kids request to.... on top of the bread...but it's optional..maybe you can try some cheese or anything! Let 's Try....
