Classic macaroni cheese

Eimaan's  favorite .....
 
Ingredient
 
400g macaroni
50g butter
2 tablespoons plain flour
2 cups (500ml) milk
2 cups (250g) grated cheese (gruyere, tasty, vintage)
Chopped parsley
 
  1. Step 1
    Cook the macaroni in a large pan of boiling water according to packet instructions (different brands may vary in size & cooking times) until al dente.
  2. Step 2
    Meanwhile, melt the butter in a medium saucepan and add the flour. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute over medium-low heat.
  3. Step 3
    Gradually add the milk, stirring until smooth. Stir gently until the mixture comes just to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the grated cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Step 4
    Drain pasta and return to the pan. Pour cheese sauce over the pasta and stir until well coated. Season with salt and white pepper to taste. Serve immediately sprinkled with chopped parsley.

Mango ( cut in cube)
Tomato
Onion (slice)
Toasted peanut
Anchovies ( grill)
Bird chili
Garlic
Fish Sauce
Sugar
Lime juice

Combined all ingredient...and ready to eat

Breakfast $2 at Cengkih

"Cengkih teh tarik" is one of our favorite drink....the taste and the aroma of cengkih itself can make us  addicted to come here ... and  combination with nasi lemak bungkus  is really perfect breakfast..hehehe..(make sure you take a fast walk after took this menu to burn the calories...hheheh)

Roti jala with Fish Curry



ROTI JALA


Ingredient
450g plain flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp  turmeric powder or yellow color
450 ml fresh milk
3 eggs ~ lightly beaten
450 ml water
2 tbsp melted butter
 
Method

Blend all the ingredient..( more easy and fast !)
Make lacy patterns on the medium hot pan.
Flip over once and remove from pan.
Repeat the process until all batter is used.
Roll up the roti jala into a swiss roll
Serve with curry .
