Chocolate Moist Cake....Angah's 10th birthday

 As salam... 

Make choco cake for angah's 10th birthday.... invite angah classmates..@ Al Falaah school to celebrate...This moist recipe is a hot item ordered by my customers.....once...

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purposes (sift  with baking powder 3 x)
  • 2 tsp  baking powder
  • 2 cups caster sugar
  • 4 eggs (A grade)
  • 250 gm butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • *1 cup cocoa powder
  • *1/2  cup granulated sugar
  • *1 cup hot water
  • *1/2 cup evaporated milk

Methods

  • * Combine cocoa , sugar and hot water . Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.. turn off the fire and keep warm add evaporated milk and stir well mix. Put aside
  • In another bowl, cream butter and sugar till it is light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence and continue with eggs one at a time. Beat till well combined.
  • Gently pour in flour mixture, alternate with the chocolate paste. *Start with flour and end with flour.
  • Lined and greased a 8 or 9 inch round baking pan.
  • Pour batter into cake pan and bake  at 180c for 45-50 minutes  or till it is cooked.
  • Leave it to cool before unmould the cake.
